So, what is this web-site for ? (and more specifically, who?)
Generally, you will find here an eclectic mix of things that interest/amuse/annoy me. Whether these things have the same effect on you ... only you can say.
I have in the past been very active on Twatter [sic] but got sick to death of that particular dispenser of crap, bullshit, lies and distortions in 2020 -
with most of the credit for that down to Donald The Twat Trump.
What else ...
Various bits'n'pieces (aka detritus) covering things of interest ... well of interest to me at least.
Also, an effort to showcase the 'City of York ' and some of its hidden treasures. Yes Yes, we all know about the 'Bar Walls' and 'The Minster' but York is much more than these two ancient attractions ... Why not take a look? We really do have a wealth of things to do / see & not everything charges a fee.

(Where a particular Attraction has a website, I have tried to provide an up-to-date link, but if you come across a broken one ... just email me and I shall 'try' to rectify it).

And then we have a (brief) look at some of the software that I have written in the past ... altho, in truth, most of the software I have worked on has been lost. (Why Yes Julie, when the Website Host says 'make sure to download all information you wish to keep before pressing the delete button' that applies to you too ... idiot!)
Under the software Tab are a couple of Programs 'Wot I did Rit' ... Nothing Fancy you understand ... just a couple of small/insignificant examples of the kind of stuff that I can do. No doubt I shall be able to add to this small collection in the future, but for now, these are the only examples which have survived various changes of web service providers.
Having said all of that, this web-site serves mainly as a place where I can try out and practice my skills with HTML & CSS. And that, dear reader is important ... I may say things that infuriate you, or bore you ... but please remember that the whole point of this site is to help me learn web-skills.
